| Customer Reviews: Good product at a good price. September 22, 2008 D. M. Freind (Crozet, VA USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I got this to use on a long road trip. My nephew brought his laptop computer along and used this inverter to power it on a four hour trip. The unit worked reliably and kept the laptop batter charged. The unit sits nicely in a cup holder but I was not able to use this feature as the unit was put in the back seat with the nephew and the cord was not long enough to reach from the center console to rear cup holder. The cord is about 2 feet long and is the biggest downfall in my opinion.
Great! November 19, 2009 D (mn) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We've been using this for trips to run the laptop for DVD movies. It works great. There is some fan noise when it is running but honestly you can't hear the fan unless you are sitting at a stop light.

I plugged it in gave it a quick test with a laptop, it worked. There is a fan in it, not too loud, guess it may be needed for long use. It's a little small for the cup holder in a Honda Accord but will work fine. Mainly got it for the laptop and the usb connection to power a TomTom One GPS.
Excellent Travel Companion!! May 21, 2010 Jose Duran (Boise, ID USA) I bought this to keep my laptop charged on a long road trip. The fan is a little noise, but it's hardly noticeable when actually driving. My daughter was able to watch dvd's on it, i was able to do some schoolwork on the road and keep everyone's iPod charged with the built in USB plug. I recommend this highly if you're about to go on a road trip and you need to keep your gadgets juiced, excellent product!
Works well, but fan is very noisy. February 11, 2009 az (DC, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
When the car is on, this inverter makes powering a laptop and charging a cellphone or GPS no problem, but come to a stop and turn off your engine, and the fan inside makes a horrible racket that you just didn't notice with road noise.
